Where the journey begins. This piece didn’t come with a plan or a meaning at first. Instead, it was experimental — just the joy of exploring and testing out colours. Things started to emerge as I noticed the horizon line, and once I used a roller, it began to look like mountains, but in a chaotic way. I knew what needed to come next: something beautiful amongst the chaos.
I’m always pulled in by bold colour first, but what I care about more is the feeling that comes after that. When you look a little longer and start noticing and exploring ideas within your own life all while looking at this painting.
To me, this piece feels like being in the middle of something — when things feel messy or uncertain, but you’re still moving through it. Still figuring things out. Still becoming.
I hope this piece allows you to discover something within yourself. Even when things in your life seem chaotic and unmanageable, beauty can always be found as long as you keep looking.
This painting needs to be in a space where you don’t just glance at it once, but keep coming back to it — a bedroom, a hallway, or a quiet corner.
Something that changes a little depending on the day you’re having.
I hope this painting can evoke reflection in your own life and brings you a little piece and understanding with it.
